I help people who are feeling stuck, anxious, depressed, and sometimes all three reduce their symptoms, build self-esteem, and discover and build upon their strengths. I help couples of all types restore communication and affection when their relationships are in distress. I work with LGBTQIA+ people to navigate the sometimes murky waters of sexuality, gender, and personal identity. I work to affirm all identities and support trans men and women throughout their transition and beyond.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you build the strongest, brightest future you can imagine!

I have been practicing independently since 2014 and have a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. I am an eclectic therapist, which means I use a variety of techniques in my sessions and can adjust my style to suit your needs. With me, you will learn skills that you can practice in your day to day life to increase your sense of control and well-being.

If you are ready, I am here to help you as you take the next steps in your journey through life.

I help people who are experiencing challenging life transitions and difficulties communicating
effectively and resolving conflicts within family and romantic relationships. In addition, I help
individuals struggling with ever-shifting moods that at times make you feel like you’re on a
rollercoaster ride, and individuals struggling with depressed moods and anxiety that creep up
situationally and/or are consistently present and noticeably diminishing your overall quality of
life. I work with LGBTQIA+ individuals, providing an inclusive and safe space where you are
invited to process all of the self-evaluative questions surrounding gender identity and sexual
orientation. In counseling individuals can begin processing the contextual factors that are
causing them to be distressed and/or feel their sexual and gender identities are affirmed and
begin building resiliency, learning assertiveness skills, and improving self-esteem.

I have a Masters in Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I was
awarded a Graduate Professional Counselor licensure by the Board of Professional Counselors
and Therapists in the state of Maryland in 2018.

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward defining and creating your own greatest vision of
yourself and quality life, please call and schedule an appointment. I would love to work with
you to help you find peace within knowing you are in control of creating a meaningful existence.

Welcome! Many individuals seek the support of therapy at some point in their lives. The assistance of a skilled and caring therapist can have many benefits. While these benefits may vary, just beginning the process can help ease some of the isolation we all can feel. My mission is to assist my clients with recognizing their innate strengths and build resilience through the use of integrated therapeutic approaches, which include but are not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, goal-oriented therapy and trauma-informed care.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma and relational issues. I also work with couples and families seeking stability in their everyday lives. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals, uncover inner strengths, identify barriers to growth, and teach new coping skills.

My aim is to empower my clients to begin thinking positively about their capabilities, cultivate self-awareness, problem solving skills, self-determination and to overall reduce their inner distress.
