I help people who are feeling stuck, anxious, depressed, and sometimes all three reduce their symptoms, build self-esteem, and discover and build upon their strengths. I help couples of all types restore communication and affection when their relationships are in distress. I work with LGBTQIA+ people to navigate the sometimes murky waters of sexuality, gender, and personal identity. I work to affirm all identities and support trans men and women throughout their transition and beyond.
Ultimately, my goal is to help you build the strongest, brightest future you can imagine!
I have been practicing independently since 2014 and have a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. I am an eclectic therapist, which means I use a variety of techniques in my sessions and can adjust my style to suit your needs. With me, you will learn skills that you can practice in your day to day life to increase your sense of control and well-being.
If you are ready, I am here to help you as you take the next steps in your journey through life.
Led by the belief that people are the experts regarding their own lives, I will work with you to help you examine your inner life without judgement and develop new skills for emotional resilience that are the key to living your healthiest, happiest life. I utilize a more holistic, mind-body approach to treatment, weaving together techniques from a broad spectrum of evidence-based practices to help you connect with your true inner self. By doing this, we will increase awareness and rediscover your sense of self. Armed with these things, you'll see that you already possess the power to make change.
I am a licensed social worker and I want to help you explore ways to feel better. I believe we are all incredibly resilient. I offer a warm and safe environment in which we can share in a dialogue that encourages you to speak to your most authentic self to begin moving forward in your life.
